Filter-Monster makes the following limited extended warranty to the original residential user or purchaser of the air purifier and replacement Filter-Monster brand HEPA/HEPA-type filter: In the event the product suffers a mechanical or electrical defect while using a Filter-Monster brand replacement HEPA/HEPA-type filter in the one (1) year following the expiration of the shortest portion of the manufacturer's parts and labor warranty, this extended warranty plan offers repair or replacement of the defective product. This warranty applies ONLY to the original consumer purchaser who buys and uses Filter-Monster replacement filters for use in the Air Purifier at issue and for ONLY residential and household purposes. This warranty does not cover any commercial uses. Proof of purchase of air purifier and filter is required. Some exclusions may apply. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE, FILTER-MONSTER MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO BUYER OR ANY OTHER PERSON AS TO THE EQUIPMENT’S OR FILTER’S FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, DESIGN, CONDITION, OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF THE AIR PURIFIER EQUIPMENT OR AIR FILTER, THEIR COMPONENTS, WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS.

Under this warranty, if the original unit is not repaired, the replacement product:

  • will be of equal or similar features and function
  • may or may not be of the same brand
  • may be new or refurbished
  • Filter-Monster will at its sole discretion determine whether to repair or replace consumers air purifier or provide to consumer equipment which filter-monster determines to be of similar features or function.

The performance guarantee goes into effect immediately after the shortest warranty period of your manufacturer's warranty expires. If the manufacturer's warranty is a split warranty coverage (a split warranty exists when there is uneven coverage for parts and labor),this plan shall commence when a Filter-MonsterHEPA/HEPA-type filter is purchased and utilized in the unit and when the shortest period of the manufacturer's parts and warranty expires. For example, if the warranty covers 90-days parts and labor and 1-year parts, the Filter Monster one (1) year extended warranty coverage begins after 90-days (the shortest parts and labor period).

Warranty Coverage

  • The plan is limited to ONE (1) air purifier replacement/repair for each Filter-Monster brand HEPA/HEPA-type filter purchased and used with the air purifier, and during the lifetime of the plan.
  • This performance guarantee goes into effect immediately after the shortest warranty period of your original manufacturer's warranty expires, and only when using a Filter-Monster brand HEPA/HEPA-type filter.
  • This plan covers mechanical and electrical failures that would normally be covered by the original manufacturer's written warranty.
  • This plan applies to only products used NON-Commercially.
  • Warranty applies only to air purifiers using HEPA/HEPA-type Filter-Monster branded filters.
  • Filter-Monster branded pre-filters are excluded from the warranty coverage. The warranty coverage is only available for air purifiers using Filter-Monster brand HEPA/HEPA-type filters.
  • Warranty coverage is not available for other brands of filters purchased through Filter-Monster.com (non-Filter-Monster branded filters.)

Warranty Service

  • The customer is responsible for shipping, at their expense, the air purifier and filter to a Filter-Monster facility within the 48 contiguous states to obtain warranty service. Items should be carefully packaged to avoid damage. Filter-Monster will not be responsible for items damaged or lost during shipping.
  • Filter-Monster will NOT be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Your SOLE remedy will be repair or replacement as provided above.
  • Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.
  • If the original residential user or consumer purchaser of the air purifier or filter ceases to own the air purifier, this warranty and any implied warranty which remains in effect, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are voided. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. The duration of any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, in respect to the motor, is expressly limited to the period of the express warranty set forth in the Original manufacturer's warranty.
  • This warranty is voided if the air purifier is not purchased and used in the United States. This warranty excludes and does not cover malfunctions or failures of the air purifier which were caused by misuse, improper maintenance or modification to the air purifier.
